stem night

Rome Middle School is inviting families of rising sixth and seventh grade students to learn more about the RMS STEM Academy during an upcoming STEM Information Night. The event is designed to help parents and students better understand what STEM education looks like at Rome Middle and how participation can benefit students academically and beyond.

STEM Information Night will be held on Monday, Jan. 27, at 6 p.m. in the Rome Middle School cafeteria.

During the session, families will learn what STEM is, how the RMS STEM Academy is structured, and why students may want to take part. Parents and students will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to STEM teachers and gain insight into coursework, expectations, and opportunities available through the program.

Applications for the RMS STEM Academy are currently open for both rising sixth and rising seventh grade students. Families interested in applying must access the application portal through Google Classroom. Rising sixth grade families can join using the class code aotdupnc, while rising seventh grade families should use the class code v2egrnwe.

Parents with additional questions or who need more information are encouraged to contact Danielle Dixon at ddixon@rcs.rome.ga.us. Attendance at STEM Information Night is highly encouraged for families considering the program, as it provides a valuable opportunity to learn more and make an informed decision.
