Rome High Senior Advances to Semifinalist Stage in 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program
ROME, GA— Rome High School senior, Anna Davidson, has advanced to the Semifinalist round in the National Merit Scholarship Program for 2022.
This academically talented high school senior will have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $30 million that will be offered next spring.
To be considered for a Merit Scholarship award, Semifinalists must fulfill several requirements to advance to the finalist level of the competition. About 95% of the Semifinalists are expected to attain finalists standing, and approximately half of the finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship, earning the Merit Scholar title.
National Merit Scholarship winners for 2022 will be announced in four nationwide news releases, from April to July.
