RNs from Atrium Health Floyd visited our 7th grade STEM classroom with cadaver hearts for our students to explore, handle, and gain knowledge about heart health. These hearts showcased various conditions, including heart attacks, valve replacements, stab wounds, enlarged hearts, and triple bypasses. The students had an incredibly informative lesson on the different parts and functions of the heart, as well as valuable insights on maintaining a healthy heart. We were happy that RCS Board member, Mrs. Burge, was able to attend this informative lesson as well. #ReimagineRCS
