Expect scattered thunderstorms, with the most significant threat coming from a line of storms pushing into Northwest Georgia from Alabama/Tennessee during the late afternoon. The primary hazards with any of these storms will be damaging wind gusts and quarter-size hail, and yes, a brief tornado is also possible.
