The Rome City Schools Board of Education will meet on Friday, December 6, 2024, for its
fall retreat. The retreat will be held at Rome City Schools College and Career Academy at 990 Veterans Memorial Highway, Rome, Georgia 30161 beginning with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. Retreat business will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Rome City Schools would like to congratulate Rome High School’s Emily Blackmon for being named the Floyd County Farm Bureau Agriculture Student of the Month. She is a senior and vice president of Rome High’s FFA chapter and was recognized for her Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) Project where she visits elementary and middle schools promoting and educating students.
