Rome City Schools is hosting a voluntary COVID-19 Vaccination Event on Monday, November 1 from 9:30am until 12:00pm in the Large Meeting Room at the College and Career Academy.
This event is open to the public for those who wish to receive their first round of the vaccine.
The booster will be available for RCS employees.

VOLT tutoring will be available starting August 30 through April 28!

Our Rome High Cross Country Wolves will compete this coming weekend, Saturday, October 23rd, in Whitesburg, GA for the Region 5-AAAAAA Championship!
The top 4 teams from the region will qualify for the 2021 GHSA State Championship which will be held on November 5th-6th in Carrollton, GA.
According to Head Coach Nick Bridges, each member of the team has made significant improvements in their times, commitment, and expectations of what it takes to RACE WITH CONFIDENCE.

Rome High's Class of 2022 seniors were celebrated by their coach, team members, family, and peers on Wednesday, September 29, as the softball program held Senior Night at Rome High School.
Maci Andrews is a two-sport athlete who has been a four-year starter in the softball program. She is a three-time all region selection in softball. She has earned eight total varsity letters for swimming and softball. She is a member of the National Honor Society and has maintained a GPA greater than 4.0 while attending RHS. Maci is very active in leading the youth group at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has not ruled out a plausible full-time missionary service in the near future. Following graduation, she plans on attending Georgia Highlands College on a softball scholarship.

Cassie Covington is a four year varsity member of the softball program, earning a varsity letter all four years. She is a varsity member of the basketball team for three years. She is a CTAE Student Ambassador for RHS and plans to attend Berry College to earn a degree in nursing.

Emily is a four-year member of the softball program at RHS and has earned a varsity letter all four of her years. She is very involved in her high school: she is current president of HOSA (Future Health Professionals, formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America), a CTAE (Career, Technical and Agricultural Education) Student Ambassador, and a member of the National Honors Society. She plans to attend Mercer University, where she will double major in biomedical engineering and psychology.
